The inspiration for Carded starts with “carding”, where wool fibers are untangled and aligned in one direction, preparing it to be spun into a wool yarn for textiles. The subtle cross-hatching in the Carded style references this process, showing layers of warmth as it forms a gentle, open structure across the floor.
